Kina Connor-Ortiz is an artist born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Recently graduating from SCC’s dance program, they are exploring their passion for creating choreography, film, costumes, and graphic design. Kina received their early dance education from Tempe Dance Academy, learning a range of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, ballroom, musical theater, and acro. While attending TDA, they took part in a touring performance that had several stops throughout Europe. Kina’s choreography has been highlighted and awarded at events such as the American College Dance Association and the Arizona Drive-In Dance Film Fest.
