Biographies

Jordan Daniels

Jordan Daniels is a Phoenix born artist who has danced and designed work in collaboration for CONDER/DANCE for the last 10 years. He has created work for the School of Ballet Arizona, Arizona School for the Arts, Scottsdale Community College, The Playa Choir at Black Rock City Burning Man, and countless studios throughout the Phoenix Metro Area.

His first choreographed work in 5 years, “It’s Like Riding…” is a statement on personal and communal grief centered on loss. It at the same time is a journey of joy in times that feel impossible. Thank you to CONDER/dance and the artists who made it with me.

Alyssa Johnson/Paracosm Dance

Paracosm Dance is a contemporary dance theatre company creating temporary realities through fierce movement. Founded by Alyssa Johnson, they are a multimedia artist collective driven by the insatiable need to create. They build kaleidoscopic worlds – on stage, on screen, and in the middle of nowhere – where dance, score, integrated design, and distorted dramaturgy collide to create surreal, multilayered experiences of merged physicality and imagination. Their work has been featured in festivals across the country (most recently at [nueWORK] Dance Festival 2025), and their films have premiered across the globe from the International Dance Festival in New Orleans to Australia's Inspired Dance Film Festival. Their most recent debut at the Orpheum Theatre, VISITORS, was met with critical acclaim, Dance Magazine's Kyra Laubacher calling it an "indisputable success" and dubbing the company "a motley crew of highly-articulate, gorgeous dancers." Tickets are now on sale for their return to the Orpheum Theatre on October 2nd, 2026 (presale ends May 17th). Learn more about the company and grab your tickets at www.paracosmdance.com!
